Calathea makoyana, also known as the Peacock plant or Cathedral Window, is native to South America, particularly Espírito Santo in eastern Brazil. This plant has dark green spots on the surface of the leaves and thin leaf stalks. What's special about it is that the leaves close every night and open in the morning.
